At Vectiny, we strive to ensure a positive experience for both buyers and authors on our platform. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued and the terms that apply to refund and return requests for digital items purchased through Vectiny.com.

General Principles

  1. Digital Items Only:
    As a marketplace for digital assets, items purchased on Vectiny are non-tangible and immediately accessible upon payment. This policy reflects the unique nature of digital goods.

  2. No Physical Returns:
    Due to the nature of digital items, they cannot be “returned” once downloaded or accessed. Refunds will only be granted under specific circumstances outlined below.

Eligibility for Refunds

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  1. Item Defect or Non-Performance:

    • The purchased item does not work as described or is defective.
    • The defect cannot be resolved through updates, support, or replacement by the author.
  2. Misrepresentation:

    • The item is not as described in its listing or does not match the demo, previews, or documentation.
  3. Download Issues:

    • Technical problems on Vectiny prevent you from downloading the purchased item, and the issue cannot be resolved.
  4. Unauthorized Charges:

    • Your purchase was made without your authorization due to fraud or account compromise.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued if:

  1. Change of Mind:

    • You no longer want the item after purchase or have changed your mind about its use.
  2. Compatibility Issues:

    • The item is incompatible with your system, software, or tools, and this compatibility was clearly stated in the item description.
  3. Accidental Purchase:

    • You purchased the wrong item or misunderstood its functionality.
  4. Lack of Expertise:

    • You lack the technical skill to use the item effectively.
  5. Duplicate Downloads:

    • You downloaded the item but claimed non-receipt.

Requesting a Refund

  1. Time Frame:

    • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the purchase date.
  2. How to Request:

    • Log in to your Vectiny account.
    • Go to your purchase history and select the item.
    • Click on Request a Refund and provide a detailed explanation of your issue, along with any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots or error messages).
  3. Author Involvement:

    • Refund requests will first be reviewed by the item’s author. Authors may attempt to resolve your issue through support or updates.
  4. Vectiny Intervention:

    • If the author cannot resolve the issue or the refund request is disputed, Vectiny will mediate and make the final decision.

Refund Process

  1. Approval:

    • If your refund is approved, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method.
    • Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process, depending on your payment provider.
  2. Store Credit Option:

    • Alternatively, you may choose to receive the refund as Vectiny Store Credit for future purchases.
  3. Revoke Access:

    • Once a refund is issued, your license for the item will be revoked, and you must delete any copies of the item in your possession.

Abuse of the Refund Policy

To ensure fairness for all users:

  • Buyers who frequently request refunds or attempt to misuse this policy may have their accounts reviewed or restricted.
  • Refunds for the same item cannot be requested more than once.
